1. Quick Summary
• Return Window: 30 days from delivery.
• Damage Reporting: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
• Approved Returns: We accept returns for both defective and non-defective items in original, unused condition.
• Restocking Fees: Standard Items: 10% restocking fee.
• Survive-A-Storm Shelters: 30% restocking fee.
• Return Shipping: Free prepaid return label provided for all approved standard returns.
2. Shipping & Lead Times
My Garage Station ships directly from our authorized manufacturer warehouses. To maintain transparency, please note the delivery windows:
• Standard Items: 3–9 business days (1–3 days handling + 2–6 days transit).
• Heavy/Oversized (Shelters, Saunas, Flooring): 2–6 weeks depending on the specific product category (see Shipping Policy for details).
3. How to Start a Return
• Email: support@mygaragestation.com
• Step 1: Contact us within 30 days of delivery (or within 48 hours for damage).
• Step 2: Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
• Step 3: For approved returns, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label for you to download and print.
• Step 4: Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
• Step 5: Once the item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund minus the applicable restocking fee.
4. Return Fees
• Standard Items: 10% restocking fee deducted from refund.
• Survive-A-Storm Shelters: 30% restocking fee deducted from refund.
• Exchanges: No restocking fee for same-item exchanges due to damage or defect.
• Outgoing Shipping: Original outgoing shipping costs (including Western U.S. Surcharges) are non-refundable.
5. Damaged or Wrong Items
• Immediate Action Required: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage.
• Freight Inspection: For Survive-A-Storm Shelters, damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
• Resolution: We will provide a free prepaid label and either replace the item or provide a full refund with no restocking fee for verified transit damage reported on time.
6. Non-Returnable Items
• Delayed Reports: Items reported for damage after the 48-hour window.
• Used/Installed: Any item that has been installed, bolted down, or used (unless a factory defect is discovered).
• Custom Orders: Custom-painted sports courts, custom-logo flooring, or personalized shelter configurations.
• Gift Cards: Non-refundable.
7. Refunds
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days following the successful inspection of the returned item at the manufacturer's warehouse.
